3. Feature benefits
Curve is packed with innovative features built to put you in control of your finances and help you manage your cashflow better. Lets break down your access to these features, according to what Curve Plan you're on.
Curve Pay
Go Back in Time up to 30 days after you've made a payment, perfect if you just slip up and accidentally pay with the wrong card or want to reshuffle your finances before your credit card balance is due. For example, if you want another month to pay your credit card balance, you can switch over a few big purchases to another credit card to avoid paying interest. You can create 1 Smart Rule to match specific payments to a specific card. For example, you might want to ensure all your purchases over £100 get charged to your credit card so you can maximise points. And you're free to use Curve Fronted to pay with a credit card where only debit cards are accepted, with a 2.5% fee.
Curve Pay X
Go Back in Time up to 60 days after you've made a payment, create up to 5 smart rules, and use Curve Fronted with a 2.5% fee. This is ideal if you want to use Go Back in Time to manage your cashflow, switching out older payments from your credit card to your debit card to free up cash or refinancing debt from one credit card to a lower-interest or 0% interest credit card.
Curve Pay Pro
Go Back in Time up to 90 days after you've made a payment, create as many smart rules as you want and use Curve Fronted up to £1000/month with no fee. This is ideal if you want to move larger sums of money from one card to another as you will be able to dip further back into your transaction history. The additional fee-free access to Curve Fronted can help you maximise credit card rewards by earning points on bills you normally wouldn't be allowed to use a credit card for, like taxes, school fees or even other credit card bills. In fact, you can use this free Curve Fronted allowance to pay credit cards with credit cards and double up on rewards.
Curve Pay Pro+
Go Back in Time up to 120 days after you've made a payment, create as many smart rules as you want and use Curve Fronted up to £3000/month with no fee. This is ideal if you want to unlock the full power of Curve. Not only can you dip into 6 months of transaction history to move large sums from one card to another, you earn 1000s of extra credit card points with your generous Curve Fronted alllowance. For example, £3000 using a Barclays Avios credit card for bills where only debit cards are accepted - could earn you up to 36000 additional Avios points per year. At 1p per point, 36,000 Avios would be worth around £360 alone.
How can upgrading pay for itself?
All Curve premium plans are designed to add value to your financial life and help you maximise your money. Sure, if you don't travel and simply want to simplify your finances with all your cards in one – Curve Pay will probably be enough for you. But most people will benefit from an upgrade.
