If you've not done so already, get Curve Pay and signup.

Set your backups

In the app, go to the Anti-Embarrassment app in Launchpad, select your back up cards. You can choose up to two.

Spend with confidence

Once set up, we'll do the rest. If the card used for any transaction is declined, we'll try the others you've chosen in order. You may never suffer a decline again!

What is Anti-Embarrassment Mode?

Anti-Embarrassment Mode is a Curve Pay feature that switches to your backup card if your primary card gets declined — automatically and without drawing attention.

How do I enable it?

Go to your Curve Pay app > Settings > Anti-Embarrassment Mode. Choose one or two backup cards. Done.

Will I be notified if a backup card is used?

Yes, Curve Pay will send you a push notification as soon as a backup card is used — so you’re always in the loop.

Can I change my backup cards anytime?

Absolutely. You can update or remove your backup cards at any time in the Curve Pay app.

Does this affect my credit score?

No. Anti-Embarrassment Mode doesn’t impact your credit score and doesn’t involve any credit checks.
