Curve Pay Free Trial Terms

Version 1 - 20 November 2024

  1. From time to time we may run a promotion offering a free trial for any of our premium subscriptions, namely Curve Pay X, Curve Pay Pro or Curve Pay Pro+ (each a “Premium Subscription”), if, during the Offer Period (as defined below), you are an existing Curve Pay, Curve Pay X or Curve Pay Pro customer (the “Offer”) and upgrade to a higher monthly Premium Subscription on the terms set out below (the “Terms”). Customers that may participate in the Offer will receive an invitation to participate by way of email, other notification or through the Curve Wallet (either, the “Offer Invite”).

  2. The Offer will be open for a specific period of time, as stated on the Offer Invite (the “Offer Period”).

  3. The terms that apply to each Offer are made up of these Terms and the information contained in the Offer Invite (the “Offer Terms”). By signing up for the Offer, you will be deemed to have accepted the Offer Terms.

  4. You must comply with the Offer Terms and the terms that apply to your Curve account at all times when participating in the Offer.

  5. Eligible customers: The Offer is available to residents of the United Kingdom and/or countries in the European Economic Area (EEA) who are aged 18 years or over at the date of entry, excluding employees of Curve UK Limited, Curve Europe UAB, Curve Credit Limited, Curve US Inc., Curve Netherlands B.V. (Netherlands), and their immediate families, associated agents, or anyone professionally connected with the offer. Curve accepts no liability for users who do not qualify for the Offer.

  6. Curve Account: You accept the relevant terms and conditions applicable for signing up to a Curve account and for taking out or upgrading to a Premium Subscription, which can be found here if you are a resident of the United Kingdom or here if you are an EEA resident. Curve does not bear any liability if for any reason you are not able to upgrade or activate your Curve Card or if there are delays for any reason including being unable to verify your account. Curve accepts no liability for incomplete account upgrades or activations.

  7. End of Offer: At the end of the Offer, the standard price for the Premium Subscription will apply.

  8. Other promotions: Curve may determine in its sole discretion that the Offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other discount or offer by Curve.

  9. Protection: If you are a UK resident, please note that FSCS protection does not apply to the funds held on your Curve Cash Card. To learn more about how we protect your funds and how we minimise your risk, go here. More information can be found on the FCA website itself, here.

  10. Disqualification: Any person persistently trying to circumvent the Offer Terms will be immediately disqualified. Any person who creates or attempts to create duplicate Curve accounts to obtain entries into the Offer will be ineligible, including any person who cancels an existing Curve account and signs up for a new one to take advantage of the Offer. Curve reserves the right to disqualify customers where there are reasonable grounds to believe they are acting fraudulently or where there has been a breach of the Offer Terms or any instructions forming part of signing up using the Offer.

  11. Suspending or amending the Offer and/or Terms: Curve retains the right to amend these Terms, the Offer Terms and/or the Offer without any prior notice. If you have already signed up for the Offer prior to the Offer Terms being amended, any changes to the Offer Terms will not affect the terms of that Offer.

  12. Use of Personal Data: Personal data provided will be used for the purposes of administering the Offer and your Curve account. Please see the Curve’s Privacy Policy here.

  13. Law and Jurisdiction: The Offer and the OfferTerms are governed by English law and any legal proceedings in relation to them will be held in the English courts if you are a United Kingdom resident and by Lithuanian law and Lithuanian courts if you are a Lithuanian resident. If you are resident in an EEA country, nothing in the OfferTerms prevents you from taking legal action in the country in which you reside.
